Canadian government allows (and give subsidies and tax profits) this year the biggest seal hunt in 50 years. Methods in this hunt pushes human back to the Stone Age. They smashes the head of seals, and, no waiting to their death, hunters tear out the skin.
Please, take action against the hunt:
I will NOT buy Canadian products until the end of the hunts. Will you?

I don’t like bullfighting, and I protest against it too. But, in fact, bulls can defend, even survive; baby seals can’t do it, and most of then are still alive when they are skinned. Bulls die because a sword goes through they heart, it’s fast. Seals die because blows or the skinning, it’s slow and much more painful. And only to dress rich women
I like Canada, there’s nice people there. But I don’t like what their politicians allow because business. Of course, fell free to don’t buy Spanish products; if we can stop bullfighting too it will be a good new.
Umm yeah. you guys are freaking out just more then abit too much. They have hunted seals for hundreds of years. i agree that the methods aren’t the most humain or technologically advanced, but seriously ITS AN ANIMAL. If we were to let the seals to live completely unhinderd (seeing as we are killing their natural enemies) they will over populate, and destroy a lot of resources. Then after they have eaten all of their food and our food what will we do. Then we will have the fishermen angry at us. It’s imposssible to keep everyone happy.
The hunt is not the question. We humans are predators and eat as animals as vegetables. The question is we are XXI Century humans and we behave as just down the trees.
If a person doesn’t concern about pain in animals, it’s easy he doesn’t concern about human pain either. Remenber, we are animals too.
