Good-for-nothing Redmon lab

We can read at Linux.com a little list of GNU/Linux distributions to use in old boxes and thin clients. This article defeats another written by MS opensource lab trying to prove that it’s not true GNU/Linux can be installed in old hardware.

I’ve mentioned that I have installed Debian Sarge in a Pentium 133 MMX with 48 Mb of RAM. In fact, they have another heavy contestant in OpenBSD, we can make strong (in security sense) boxes with the lastest release and a 80386 processor-based system.

I think I’ll write how easy can I do it, to the unbeliever Redmon clowns.

At SIGE lab we have a Pentium 100 with 16MB RAM. First I had to install a debian potato, but now the system it’s a modern sarge with a large uptime.
